Women's Empowerment

Panashi Foundation decided to create a women empowerment project because we deeply believe that the growth and uplifting of a nation lies into the empowerment and education of women. They are the ones who pass on care and knowledge in families. They are key elements in society and they are neglected although studies have proven that the lower the gap between men and women, the faster the development of a country is.

This program is meant to help women with potential, that have the motivation to learn and rise. We want to make them realize they have a voice that matters and that should be heard. We also want to show them that they have the ability to develop hard skills that will help them gain financial independence, at least weigh more in the household income – hence in the decision making process. We want to give them back the confidence they can achieve anything if they set their mind to it. Panashi is a stepping stone for them to achieve their dreams.

Hard Skills

The goal of those skills is to give them the opportunity to create and be able to sell their creations so they can increase the household revenue.

Soft Skills

The goal of those skills is to give them a better understanding of the world they evolve in and of the rights they have. We also aim to give them knowledge about their body as women and break some taboos.

Those lists are not exhaustive and will evolve continuously with the needs and inputs of the women we will help and nurture.

Who is it for?

This program enrolls women from poor backgrounds who want to turn things out and become independent. They don’t want to sit at home and take care of household chores only, they want to earn and take part in the financial life of the household.
We enroll anyone who is motivated, determined to change their life, and willing to dream of a world where women are considered for the value they bring to society.
We carefully meet and interview women who want to enter the program, we select them based on their background, skills, and mostly motivation. Because we know a strong will can go a long way!
